Getting to Port St Johns.


If you are coming down from Gauteng, you might consider stopping overnight in the Drakensberg. Click on each town to see a list of hotels and their phone numbers

From the North
Take the N3 to Howick. Then the R617 ( Southern Drakensburg turnoff)
Go through Boston, Bulwer and Underburg.
At Swartburg, turn left to Kokstad.
Just south of Kokstad, take the Port St Johns/Flagstaff/Lusikisiki turn off .

From the South
Take the N2 to Umtata
In the town centre look for the sign down to Port St Johns

From KwaZuluNatal
From Port Edward go to Bizanna
Turn left onto the Port St Johns/Flagstaff/Lusikisiki road at Magusheni. (May not be signposted.)
